My mother tongue is Urdu. Allah says" Kullu Nafsin Zayaqattul Maut" but for the death of Prophet Joseph
He says Muttafia means Wafat which some say Temporary and Maut is permanent which is I am asking the difference.

Salam,
Dear Bro Sardar Miyan,

Allah clearly says in 39:42 where the words "wafat" and "maut" are both mentioned :
Allah takes the souls (yatawaffa l-anfusa) at the time of their death (mautiha), and those that do not die (lam tamut) [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death (qadha 'alayha l-maut) and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

I hope that helps.

May God bless you.
Salam,

Thanks Bro Ervin for clarification. I wanted to ask the difference between "Wafat" and "Mauth" as somebody was telling that Wafat is temporary death while Mauth is permanent death. One friend says that Allah used Wafat for Prophet Jesus as he would be coming back. All know this is not true but he argued like this. Thanks for reply.
