Does good and evil both come from God? Is God good by nature or has he chosen to uphold good over evil. Does the evil that come from man also come from God as the good does?

Good and evil both are only from the Human as Allah has given Free Will to him/ her. Life on earth is
test for Humans by having Free Will for doing good or bad in the world for which they may get Paradise or Hell on Judgement Day.

I do not mean the act of doing good or evil , but the nature of good and evil it self.

Yes Good and Evil were created for test only.
