Post by: Iman on September 25, 2018, 05:36:48 AM
salam,
why is there 2 different distributions of inheritance in the same case of kelala الكلالة ( when one has no children or parents) in 4:12  and 4:176.

Thank you.

Salaam Iman,

In verse 4.12, there is an assumption that a surviving spouse is present, whereas in 4.176 there is not a spouse, therefore different sibling shares are allocated.
