Simply because something does not appear in the Quran does not mean it is non-Islamic. There is nothing objectionable, from an Islamic standpoint with the phrase "Allahu Ackbar".

Salaam Truth Seeker--
I have a Facebook account, yet these links are still broken for myself, and have always been as well.

As in, give the affluent and the leaders a second chance to be righteous, but they fail and are destroyed.

As in, Allah (swt) commands the affluent to be righteous, BUT they ignore Him, so He destroys them for their sins.

Yes, absolutely. Christians who affirm Isa (pbuh) as God are committing grievous shirk, and while they may not be disbelievers based on their exposure to the truth, they are certainly not believers.

6
Seeing as how all of the Prophets were righteous men of God (swt), it would of course be all of them who are rewarded in the hereafter-- although, perhaps I misunderstand your question?

Salaam-
Because 78:33 uses a different word than those verses, primarily meaning women.

Reading it word-by-word, it is quite clear in my opinion, that Dr. Shabbir's interpretation would not make sense. Te text (again, in my opinion) again, makes it clear that while the Prophet did fear the people on this particular issue for a short time, this mistake was swiftly remedied by him, after revelation from Allah (swt).

If God is not a tangible object or being, how can he be present in one location? How can he be located anywhere?

What you are saying right now is rooted in a belief that God is some sort of tangible being, which is simply incorrect from an Islamic perspective. I feel that if you take this into consideration, any confusion you feel will disappear.

Thank you for your response sir.

Here is my question:
Does the term 'mannan' in verse 47:4 exclusively mean freedom? If not, what other meanings does it imply? And in what circumstances should these various situations implied by the term 'mannan' be employed? I just want to gain an honest understanding.
My question is primarily aimed at Br. Joseph, since he is the one who raised it with his original answers, and because he is far and away the most knowledgeable person on the forum, but if anyone else has an answer, please share it as well.
Thank you!

Dear Moderators:

This thread feels very cluttered. I still have some points of confusion that I would like to clarify, so is it okay if I start a new, more orderly thread?
