Who is the Prophet that God spoke of in Isaiah and Deuteronomy?

According to a few verses from the Torah and the Bible, the Prophet that God spoke of is clearly not Jesus. Please note that Jesus is the Messiah, but in these specific verses, God meant a Prophet other than Jesus.

1.0   The Prophet will sing a new song of praise to God from the eastern border of Egypt, which is Saudi Arabia, while Jesus came from Nazareth, which is north of Egypt:

Ishmael is the son of Abraham and Kedar is the son of Ishmael. Kedar lived near the eastern border of Egypt, which is Saudi Arabia, where Prophet Mohamed lived. The Servant whom God will send will sing a new song of praise to God, and the settlements in which Kedar lives will rejoice. The settlements in which Kedar lives are Saudi Arabia believing in the Quran. This means that the new song that God spoke of is the Quran. But Jesus came from Nazareth which is north of Egypt. Isaiah also says, “Let the wilderness and its towns raise their voices”, and the meaning of the wilderness is an uncultivated land, that is a desert. Mohamed came from Saudi Arabia, which is a desert, while Jesus came from Nazareth which is a cultivated land full of gardens. The reason they will raise their voices is to glorify God with “Allah Akbar” which means “God is great.”

•   Genesis (25:13) These are the names of the sons of Ishmael…then Kedar…

•   Genesis (25:18) His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt…

•   Isaiah (42:10-12) Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth… Let the wilderness and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice… Let them give glory to the Lord…

2.0   Mohamed’s name is mentioned in the Torah in Hebrew, but has been translated as “lovely” in other languages:

The Hebrew word for God is אֱלֹהִים which is pronounced Eloh-im. Eloh-im is a plural of God i.e. Gods. But in Hebrew, when the suffix “im” is added to a word, it is added to indicate the majestic plural of the preceding entity, not the plural of numbers, because the Torah says that there is one God only.

•   Deuteronomy (6-4) Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God; the Lord is one.

•   Hebrew – Genesis (1:1) א בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ

•   English – Genesis (1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

“-im” is also mentioned in the preceding entity in the Song of Solomon as מַחֲמַדִּים and they translated to “lovely” which is incorrect. It should be translated to “Mohammedd-im”. As I explained above, the suffix “im” is to indicate the honor plural of the preceding entity. The Bible hub website, a Christian website, used the correct translation “ma-ha-mad-dim” in the fourth row of https://biblehub.com/text/songs/5-16.htm Therefore, Prophet Mohamed is mentioned in the Old Testament as the beloved friend of Prophet Solomon, but his name was omitted when translated into other languages and replaced with the word “lovely”.

•   Hebrew – Song of Solomon (5:16) חִכּוֹ, מַמְתַקִּים, וְכֻלּוֹ, מַחֲמַדִּים; זֶה דוֹדִי וְזֶה רֵעִי, בְּנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלִָם

•   English – Song of Solomon (5:16) His mouth is most sweet; yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

3.0   The Prophet will have a grave:

•   Isaiah (53:9) He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.

The verse says that he was assigned a grave. Christians believe that Jesus was buried for three days and then resurrected. Therefore, he had a grave for three days. However, as I explained above, Jesus was not crucified nor died, and that the heart of the earth that he entered was not a grave but a cave, therefore Jesus did not have a grave. If Christians disagree with this, then they must realize that when God told us that he was assigned a grave, He meant that the grave will exist at all times until the Day of Judgment so that it will be a proof for whoever wants to see it. However, Prophet Mohamed has a grave even today.

Christians claim that the verse says he had done no violence, and that Mohamed had engaged in many battles. But Mohamed did not initiate any violence and he was fighting only in self-defense. Christians claim that it didn’t matter whether he engaged in violence in self-defense or not, the bottom line is that he was engaged in violence. Well, the Bible says that Jesus told people to sell their clothes and buy swords. Swords are used in battles to kill people. In this situation, Jesus was also engaged in violence. But, please note that the law of God allows humans to fight for self-defense, that is, when Jesus and Mohamed fought in any battle in self-defense, it is not considered violence.

•   Luke (22:36) Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.

4.0   The Prophet will see his offspring:

•   Isaiah (53:10) Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.

The verse says that the will of God is to crush him and cause him to suffer, but does not say that the will of God is to kill him. This means that the will of God is to let him work with difficulty and fight in many battles to defend the oppressed ones who can’t defend themselves and to cause him wounds and suffering. Then the verse says that he will see his offspring, but Jesus had no children while Muhammad had. Christians believe that whoever believes in Jesus is his spiritual offspring, and they use the following verse to prove it.

•   Revelation (21:5) He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

The verses say, “He who was seated on the throne said” which is God who was seated on the throne said: I will be their God and they will be my children. The verse says that the victorious will be the children of God, not the children of Jesus. Evidence is found in Galatians that Jesus is not God because it says that we are the children of God through faith in Jesus, and it does not say that we are the children of Jesus. If Jesus was God, the verse would have said that we are the children of Jesus. The meaning of “through faith in Jesus” is by following his teachings. I have provided evidence from the Bible in the next pages, section “Is Jesus God or son of God” that Jesus is not God.

•   Galatians (3:26) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus

The verse says that he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and there is a reason for God to prolong his life, which is to show him his offspring in his eyes. This is evidence that the Christians’ assumption that the meaning of “offspring” is “spiritual offspring” is incorrect. This proves that God intended a prophet other than Jesus, because
Jesus had no children.

5.0   God told Moses that He will send a Prophet:

•   Deuteronomy (18:18) I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers…

God said that the prophet will be like Moses, but Jesus is different than Moses because Jesus was born without a father, only from a mother “Mary”, while Moses was born from a father and a mother. This is evidence that God meant a prophet other than Jesus. Christians believe that the meaning of “like you” is that he will be a preacher like Moses. But at the beginning of the verse, God said that he is a prophet, and the duty of a prophet is to preach God’s truth to people.

God told Moses that the Prophet will be one of their brothers, and the Christians thought that he will be one of the brothers of the Israelites, the house of Jacob, because of these verses:

1.   Deuteronomy (18:15) The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers - it is to him you shall listen

Please note that God first said “from among you” which means from the family of Prophet Abraham. Muslims,
Christians and Jews are all from the family of Prophet Abraham because he is our father. Then God clarified it and said “from your brothers” which means that the prophet will be from one of the brothers of the sons of Abraham. Isaac and Ishmael are the sons of Abraham. Jesus is a descendant of Isaac and Mohamed is a descendant of Ishmael. This means that the prophet will come from the decedents of Ishmael and not from Isaac because Ishmael is the brother of Isaac.

2.   Deuteronomy (17:15) you may indeed set a king over you whom the LORD your God will choose. One from among your brothers you shall set as king over you. You may not put a foreigner over you, who is not your brother

Then Christians also thought that he will be from the Israelites because God said that you may not put a “foreigner” over you. As I explained above, Ishmael is one of the sons of Abraham, and the brother of Isaac, and not a foreigner.

•   Genesis (25:9) Isaac and Ishmael, his [Abraham] sons, buried him in the cave of Machpelah…

The proof that the prophet will come from Ishmael’s decedents and not from Isaac is in Genesis (17:20) which says that the offspring of Ishmael will be a great nation e.g. winners of paradise.

•   Genesis (17:20) “And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.”

Please note that the meaning of “great” is not in quantity because God said that He will multiply him exceedingly, but He made it clear that He will make it a great nation to refer to it by quality as in Merriam-Webster dictionary. Great Definition & Meaning - Merriam-Webster
i.   In No. 6, great means: markedly superior in character or quality, especially: noble, great of soul
ii.   As an Adverb, it means: in a great manner: well
iii.   As a Noun, it means: an outstandingly superior or skillful person

But in the next verse, God said that He will establish His covenant with Isaac.

•   Genesis (17:21) “But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.”

Although God established His covenant with Isaac, but his descendants violated it and that is why Jesus told them
that the kingdom of God will be taken away from them and will be given to another nation.

•   Matthew (21:43) Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.

The nation Jesus refers to is not the Christians because the ancestors of the Christians in Jesus’ time are of the same origins as the Israelites, and both are descendants of Isaac. Also, as in Genesis (17:20) above, God said that He will make the descendants of Ishmael fruitful, that is, nobles and people of good character, and Jesus said that the nation whose God will give them His kingdom will bear the fruits of it. This means that they will fulfill the covenant with God. This is evidence that Jesus meant Mohamed because he is from the descendants of Ishmael.

God said He will send a prophet to the nations. Nations is plural which means many nations. But Jesus came to one nation only that is “Israel”, which is single nation. This proves that God meant a prophet other than Jesus.

•   Isaiah (42:6) I am the LORD; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations.

•   Matthew (15:24) Then Jesus said to the woman, “I was sent only to help God’s lost sheep - the people of Israel”

On the other hand, God said in the Quran that He sent Prophet Mohamed to all nations.

•   Quran (7:158) Say, [O Muhammad], “O mankind, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, [from Him] to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death.” So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believes in
Allah and His words, and follow him that you may be guided.

The proof that this man is Mohamed is in Deuteronomy (18:20) which says that if any liar claims to be a prophet,
God will kill him. However, God did not kill Mohamed. He survived for 22 years until he delivered the Quran to mankind. Also keep in mind that Mohamed fought many battles, but God protected him at all times.

•   Deuteronomy (18:20) But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.’

6.0   The Counselor:

Jesus said in the Bible that he will ask God to send a Counselor/Advocate after he leaves. Christians believe that the Counselor is the Holy Spirit.

•   John (16:7) Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth. It is for your benefit that I go away, because if I don’t go away the Counselor will not come to you. If I go, I will send him to you.

But the Holy Spirit descended while Jesus was still on earth, this means that Jesus did not mean the Holy Spirit, but rather someone other than the Holy Spirit because it was with us before his departure.

•   Matthew (3:16) As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.

And the Holy Spirit was also there in the hearts of the believers since Moses and David. Christians believe that the Holy Spirit was temporarily with David and Moses, but this is not true because the Spirit of God guides or leads believers to God’s truth. This means that the Spirit of God has existed since the time of Adam, the father of humanity, and there is no reason for Jesus to ask God to send it back because it was already there before his was gone. This is another proof that Jesus meant someone other than the Holy Spirit.

•   Numbers (27:18) And the LORD said to Moses: “Take Joshua the son of Nun with you, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;
•   Samuel (16:13) Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

The Bible says that the Counselor will tell us about the future. Well, the Quran has told many parables about the future that some of which have been discovered in our days with advanced technology. This technology was not available at the time of Prophet Mohamed.

•   John (16:13) When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

1.   To name a few, God said in the Quran that there are seven layers of heaven and seven layers of earth. Today, scientists have discovered that there are seven layers of the Earth. Seven layers of earth - Search (bing.com)

•   Quran (65:12) It is Allah who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them…

•   Quran (71:15) Do you not see how Allah created seven heavens, one above the other,

Since God said that the seven earths are like the seven heavens and in another verse He said that the heavens are in layers, one on top of the other, therefore, the seven earths are also in layers, one on top of the other.

2.   God said in the Quran that the bee has more than one belly. Science has proven that today.
Honeybees Have Two Stomachs - Bee Mission

•   Quran (16:68) And your Lord inspired to the bee… (69) …There emerges from their bellies a drink…

3.   God said in the Quran that He created the fruits in pairs of male and female. Science has proven today that the flowers of the fruits are male and female. fruits are male and female - Search (bing.com)

•   Quran (13:3) it was He who spread out the earth and placed upon it mountains and rivers, and fruits of every kind in male and female pairs…

4.   God said that whoever does not want to guide to Islam because they don’t want guidance, He chokes their chest as if they are ascending to the sky. Today Science has proven that there is no air after about 100 km above the Earth. there is no air in the space - Search (bing.com)

•   Quran (6:125) And whomsoever it is Allah’s will to guide, He expandeth his bosom unto the Surrender, and whomsoever it is His Will to send astray, He maketh his bosom close and narrow as if he were engaged in sheer ascent. Thus Allah layeth ignominy upon those who believe not

The question is how did Mohamed know these miracles? Non-Muslims claim that Satan passed these secrets to Mohamed so that people would believe that he is a prophet. But how did Satan know the secrets that were mentioned in the Quran if the Bible says that no one has the ability to predict and reveal future events or know what tomorrow holds except God alone. This proves that it was God who passed these secrets to Mohamed.

•   Revelation (5:2-3) And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.

•   Matthew (24:36) But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

The Bible says that the Counselor will testify about Jesus.

•   John (15:26) But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
Well, the Quran testified about Jesus that he is distinguished in this world and the hereafter and among those brought near to God, and also testified about his mother Mary that she is the most purified woman on earth.

•   Quran (3:45) [And mention] when the angels said, “O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word
from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary - distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].

•   Quran (3:42) And [mention] when the angels said, O Mary, indeed God has chosen you and purified you and chosen you above the women of the worlds.

The Bible says that the Counselor will be with us forever. The Quran that God sent to Mohamed is still with us even today. Please watch non-Muslims on CNN News who tested the original version of the Quran written in the presence of Prophet Mohamed over 1,400 years ago and compared it to the current version of the Quran we have today and found it to be the same. Ancient Quran manuscript discovered | CNN

The verse also says that the world does not accept him. Well, the majority of people on earth do not accept Mohamed, insult him, call him a terrorist, draw him in dirty cartoons to mock him, and so on, while the majority of people does not insult or mock Jesus even if they didn’t believe in him.

•   John (14:16) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

This proves that Prophet Mohamed is the Counselor that the Bible spoke of.

Women in Islam:

Mohamed’s marriage to a six years old child:

History tells us that Mohamed got engaged to Aisha when she was six years old and married her three years latter which means he had sex with her at the age of nine. But history is not always correct. Muslims follow the Quran because God promised to protect it from modification until the Day of Judgment. As for history or Hadith, if they agree with the Quran, we follow it, otherwise we don’t. Let’s see what the Quran says about marriage.

God commanded the Muslim in the Quran not to take any of the gifts he gave to his wife if he wanted to divorce her.

•   Quran (4:20) But if you want to replace one wife with another and you have given one of them a great amount [in gifts], do not take [back] from it anything. Would you take it in injustice and manifest sin?

Then God said in next verse that the wife took a solemn covenant from the husband when he married her. If Mohamed got engaged to Aisha at the age of six and married her at nine, how can a child of six or nine years old understand the solemn covenant? This can be possible among people who are intellectually mature to understand the responsibilities of this covenant.

•   Quran (4:21) And how could you take it while you have gone in unto each other and they have taken from you a solemn covenant?

God also said in the Quran that it is not permissible for us to give the orphans their rights such as money, marriage, employment, etc. except when they reach the age of puberty, and if we find sound judgment in them. God set the condition of maturity to give them their money. If God does not allow immature people to have access to their money, how can He allow them to marry and have children? It is obvious that a child of six or nine years old does not have maturity to make a sound judgment.

•   Quran (4:6) And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgment, release their property to them…

This means that the history that says Mohamed got engaged to Aisha at the age of six and married her at nine is incorrect because it contradicts the Quran because God forbade marriage before the age of maturity, and God testified in Quran that Mohamed was of great moral character. This means that he did not violate any of God’s commandments.

•   Quran (68:4) And indeed, you are of a great moral character.

However, if we read the family history of the Abu Bakr, Aisha’s father, we find that the age of Aisha can easily be calculated from the age of her older sister Asma, who was ten years older. Asma was born fourteen years before the Prophet’s mission, and the Prophet migrated to Medina after thirteen years, this means that she was twenty-seven years old during the migration. Since Aisha was ten years younger, this means that she was seventeen years old during the migration, and Mohamed married her in the second year after the migration, this means that she was nineteen years old at the time of Mohamed’s marriage to her, and not nine, as reported in the fake history.

Having sex with slave girls:

Non-Muslims believe that Muslims treat slave girls as the sexual property of their male owners. This is completely incorrect. Before Islam, slavery was common and slave women were used for prostitution. When Islam came, one of its goals was the elimination of slavery, equality between all humans, and those who are more righteous are closest to God in love.

•   Quran (49:13) O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

•   Prophet Mohamed said: O people, verily your Lord is One and your father (Adam) is one. Verily there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or of a non-Arab over an Arab or of a red man over a black man or of a black man over a red man, except in terms of pious.

God commanded in the Quran to treat parents kindly and to those whom our right hands possess (slaves). This means that God wanted Muslims to be fair with slaves like their parents. And God told us in the Quran that it is not permissible to marry our mothers, so if we are told to treat slaves like our mothers, then we are not allowed raping slaves without marriage.

•   Quran (4:36) Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbour, the neighbour farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess (slaves). Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.

God also said that there is no sin on men having sex with their wives or those who our right hands possess (slaves). So, sex is permissible with slaves, not through prostitution, but through marriage according to the Islamic law, because God urged Muslims to marry slaves in another verse.

•   Quran (23:1, 5-6) Certainly will the believers have succeeded…And they who guard their private parts Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed

•   Quran (24:32) And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

God said in the Quran that some sins are not forgiven except by buying a slave from the infidels and freeing them because He wanted to get rid of slavery and all people are equal. For example, if a Muslim broke his oath, God commanded to buy a slave from the infidels and set him/her free.

•   Quran (5:89) Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] - then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when
you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful.

God forbids marrying married women, except those whom our right hands possess (slaves). This means that we are not allowed to have an affair with a married woman in order to take her from her husband. Then God said, except slaves, but He set a condition which is to seek them in marriage and give to them gifts and dowry.

•   Quran (4:24) Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise

Having sex with captive women, prisoners of war:

Non-Muslims also believe that Muslims are allowed to engage in prostitution with captive women, prisoners of war. This is completely incorrect because God said in the Quran that His righteous servants give the best food to the captives without expecting any reward from them like sex or anything else because they are afraid of God’s punishment. God in Islam wants from Muslims to treat captives kindly, be fair with them, and feed them the best food to encourage them to read the Quran and understand Islam. God said in the Quran that whoever treats captives with justice will enter heaven.

•   Quran (76:8) And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, (9) [Saying], “We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude. (10) Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful.” (11) So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness (12) And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].

Muslims are polygamous:

A Muslim man is allowed to marry up to four women at one time. This means that Islam encourages polygamy. But this is not only in Islam because most of God’s prophets were polygamous. This does not mean that these prophets were evil because this is the law of God. For example, Prophet Abraham married Sarah and Hagar at the same time, and Prophet David had seven spouses at the same time, Ahinoam, Abigail, Maachah, Haggith, Abital, Eglah, and Bath-shua. However, when God allowed the marriage of up to four women in Quran, He set a condition that a man should be fair to all of them or else he would not be allowed to marry more than one if he knew he couldn’t be fair. The reason God allows men to marry up to four wives is to test them who would follow His command that is to be fair to all them, and to test women whether they accept God’s command and be patient.

•   Quran (4:3) And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].

Muslim women cover their head:

Muslim women are required to cover their head, but we also see some Muslim women covering their face. Covering the face (called niqab) is not required by Islam, it’s the culture in which these women grew up, because in the Arabian Peninsula the sun is hot and some women cover their face to protect it from the sun, so it has become a habit for them to keep it covered even when living in other countries.

•   Asma, daughter of Abu Bakr, entered upon Prophet Mohamed wearing thin clothes. The Prophet turned his attention from her. He said: O Asma, when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of body except this and this, and he pointed to his face and hands.

God commanded men in the Quran to lower their gaze when looking at women. This means that there is something visible in women that God has forbidden men to look at. If God wants women to cover their faces, then this means that everything in women is covered, so why did then He ask men not to look at women if that was the case. This is evidence that women are not required to cover their face.

•   Quran (24:30) “O Prophet!” Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

The reason God commanded women to cover their heads and bodies is that He wants to honor them and He wants men to value them on the basis of their morals and not on their appearance, and to protect them from being rapped. The Bible also says that women are required to cover their head.

•   1 Corinthians (11:6) For if a woman does not cover her head, let her also have her hair cut off; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, let her cover her head.

A Muslim husband is allowed to beat his wife:

Non-Muslims misunderstood verse (4:34) which says that it is permissible for a husband to beat his wife. Please note that this is only for disloyal women and after three incidents. God commanded the Muslim to live with his wife in kindness. Also, God forbids a Muslim to take any money from his wife by force. If she accepts of her own free will to help her husband pay some bills without pressure from the husband, then it is her decision, otherwise the husband is responsible for all her expenses even if she works.

•   Quran (4:19) O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.

When the servant of prophet Mohamed drove the Camels fast while there were women riding, the Prophet ordered him to drive slowly and told him that we have glass vessels riding on the Camels. Prophet Mohamed described women as glass vessels. Vessels are used to put flowers in and glass is easy to break. The Prophet meant to say that women are sensitive and we should treat them kindly.

•   Prophet Mohamed was on a journey and he had a servant called Anjasha, and he was driving the camels (very fast, and there were women riding on those camels). Prophet Mohamed said, watch O Anjasha! Drive slowly (the camels) as you are driving (the mounts who are carrying) glass vessels (women)!

Prophet Mohamed also instructed Muslims to be kind to wives. He said that the best men are those who act kindly towards their wives.

•   Prophet Mohamed said: Take my advice with regard to women: Act kindly towards women, for they were created from a rib and the most crooked part of a rib is it’s uppermost. If you attempt to straighten it; you will break it, and if you leave it alone it will remain crooked; so act kindly toward women. He also said that the best of you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family.

So when God commanded a husband to beat his wife, it was not for any case, only for the disloyal and after three incidents. First God commands the husband to admonish her, if she persists, God commands the husband not to share the bed with her as a sign of the husband’s angry, if she persists, then God allows the husband to beat her without breaking any bones or causing bleeding.

•   Quran (4:34) Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all)

Prophet Mohamed gave an example of when the husband should beat his wife which is when she plans to invite another man to her bed. In this case, Islam is very merciful to the guilty wives because God gives them three opportunities to repent and be corrected. This is an ideal solution because God wants to protect the wife from divorce and the children from living apart from the father or the mother.

•   Sulaiman bin Amr bin Al-Ahwas said: “My father narrated to me that he witnessed the farewell pilgrimage with the Messenger of Allah. So he thanked and praised Allah and he reminded and gave admonition. He mentioned a story in his narration and he (the Prophet) said: “And indeed I order you to be good to the women, for they are but captives with you over whom you have no power than that, except if they come with manifest evil behavior. If they do that, then abandon their beds and beat them with a beating that is not harmful. And if they obey you then you have no cause against them. Indeed you have rights over your women, and your women have rights over you. As for your rights over your women, then they must not allow anyone whom you dislike to treat on your bedding (furniture), nor to admit anyone in your home that you dislike. And their rights over you are that you treat them well in clothing them and feeding them.”

Women lack mind and faith:

Prophet Mohamed said that women lack mind and faith, but he did not intend to insult them, but rather to remind men to treat them kindly. God said in Quran to bring two men as witnesses for loans, but if two men is not available, then two women and one man. God replaced the man with two women, and said that if one of them forgets, the other will remind her. God said that women forget, which means that there is a deficiency in their brains. Today science discovers that a woman’s brain is smaller than a man’s. How did Mohamed know this information 1400 years ago without advanced technology? The answer is God who created the brain of women told him.
https://www.bing.com/search?q=brain+of+women+is+smaller+than+brain+of+men&cvid=2ec0f508786d4966aa33a2a66ab63b37&aqs=edge.0.69i59j0j69i59j69i64.1151j0j9&FORM=ANAB01&PC=U531

•   Quran (2:282) …Call upon two of your men to witness. If two men cannot be found, then one man and two women of your choice will witness - so if one of the women forgets the other may remind her…

As for the lack of faith, the reason is that Prophet Mohamed said that is because women are not allowed to pray, fast and read Quran during menstruation. When a woman purifies, God allows the woman to fast the missed days and not to pray the missed prayers. This means that men pray more than women.

•   Prophet Mohamed said: I did not see more defective in respect of mind and religion than the wise of you (women). A woman asked: What is the defect of mind and religion? He replied: The defect of mind is the testimony of two women for one man, and the defect of faith is that one of you does not fast during Ramadan (when one is menstruating), and keep away from prayer for some days.

The wisdom is that God created a woman’s brain smaller than a man’s, not to underestimate her, but to help her forget, because He assigned her many responsibilities such as pregnancy, caring for children by breastfeeding them and her sympathy and concern for them, and many more. So God wants women to forget some of the suffering to help them reduce stress.

A Muslim male gets a double share of the inheritance over the female:

Quran says that the male gets a double share of the inheritance over the female, as in verse (4:11). But if you read Chapter 4 in Quran verses (7-14), you will find that the grandfather, grandmother, uncle and aunt also get a share of the inheritance, depending on each case.

The wisdom behind the male’s share being twice that of the female is that the male is responsible for supporting the female if she goes bankrupt, as if she becomes widow, or if she never married, or she is unemployed and had no money. The wisdom behind this is, as I said above, that women lack mind, which means that a deceiver can pretend to love her, marry her to steal her money, and then divorce her. Therefore, God wants to protect the female by giving the male a double share, so in the event of her bankruptcy, the male bears the responsibility of providing for his sister. It is clear that Islam is fair for women and men, and a perfect solution.

The Bible also says that the man is the head of the wife.

•   Ephesians (5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church…

General Discussions / Ezra is the son of Allah (God)
« on: September 02, 2022, 11:32:10 AM »
As-salamo Alaikum,

The Jews claim that the Quran is incorrect because there is no person in the history of the Jews named Ezra. The Jews don't deny that there is a Jew named Ezra, from Yemen, who claimed to be God, but the Jews tried to kill him and not a single Jew in the whole world followed him. The Jews challenge Muslims to bring any Jew today who believes that God has a son like the Christians. The Jews admitted that all of them are children of God, but they mean with the children of God, the beloved ones of God. Therefore, I decided to explain the meaning of Ezra.

•   Verse (9:30) in Quran says that Ezra is the son of Allah (God). Ezra is written in Arabic as “Ozayer”.
•   Verses (5:12), (7:157), and (48:9) in Quran use the word “Azaro” which means “honored him”.
•   The root of “Ozayer” and “Azaro” is “Azar” which means honor.
•   Therefore, the meaning of “Ezra is the son of Allah” is “the honored is the son of Allah”.

Allah explained the meaning of “the Jews say Ezra (honored) is the son of Allah” in verse (5:18) which says “the Jews and Christians say that we are the children of Allah”.

Exodus (34:14) says: God is jealous; and Isaiah (42:8) says: God does not share His glory with anyone. This means that God is unique and completely different from all his creatures and everything that applies to the creatures does not apply to Him. For example, a man has a son, and we call this boy is the son of George, so God does not have a son, and it is not permissible to say “son” of God. Also, a man is the father of a child, and we call George is the father of Derek, so God is not the father of anyone, and it is not permissible to call God “The Father.” The titles “son” and “father” contradict the fact that God is jealous and does not share His glory with anyone. When the Jews and Christians say that they are the children of God, then they are sharing the title “son” between human and God and since God is jealous, He does not accept this.

God told the Jews that they should not make for themselves any image of anything and bow down to them.

•   Exodus (20:4-5) “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.

But the Jews amended the Torah and claimed that God will beckon to the nations to bow down to them with their faces on the ground. Therefore, the Jews share themselves with God in “bowing down”. When God said in Quran that “the Jews say Ezra is the son of Allah”, He meant to say that “the Jews say that the (honored) Jew is the son of Allah”.

•   Isaiah (49:22-23) This is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I will beckon to the nations, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their hips. 23 Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.”

Therefore, Quran is not incorrect as Jews claim because the Jews believe that they "Ezra" are the children of Allah.

General Discussions / Is the Torah we have today accurate?
« on: October 15, 2016, 01:01:15 PM »
Dear Joseph,

Salam-o Alaikum,

I have been searching the internet to find if anyone answers this question, but with no luck. Therefore, I decided to ask it to you.

•   Deuteronomy (18:18) I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers.                 And I will        put my words          in his mouth,            and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

Why Allah told Moses that he will “put His words in his mouth” since we already have his words (Torah)?

Why Allah didn’t tell Moses that I will send another Prophet “to teach the Torah that I gave to you”?

I am only guessing that the reason may be:

1)   Allah decided to change His words (Law) that He gave to Moses in the Torah. If so, why? Was the Law (Torah) that He has given to Moses incomplete? I doubt! Therefore, I am not convinced that this may be the reason.

2)   Allah knew that His Law (Torah) will be altered, and He wants to send another Prophet(s) to preach His correct words (Law). He wants to give mankind another chance(s). This is a logical suggestion for me.

3)   If my second guessing is correct, how much of the Torah was changed? Allah alone knows. Since Allah sent His final warning Quran and He promised to protect it till the Day of Judgment, then we must follow it alone.

•   Deuteronomy (18:19) And    he     that    will not    hear his words, which he shall speak in my name, I will be          the revenger.

Allah said that “And    he    that    will not    hear his words”: therefore, Allah wants ALL mankind to follow these specific words without adding a letter or omitting a letter.

I also found a verse which clearly tells us that the Torah is incorrect. I read an explanation to one person who said that the Torah which was with those specific scribes is the one that was altered, but other scribes have another copies of the correct Torah which what we have today. I was not convinced at all with his explanation.

•   Jeremiah (8:8) How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold,        the lying      pen       of the scribes        has made it         into a lie.

Would you please elaborate on my guessing and explain to me if I am wrong.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Best Regards,

Dear Members,

Peace be upon you,

Brother Hamza has replied to my post “Arab are not descendants of Abraham / Sacrificed son was Isaac, not Ishmael”
http://quransmessage.com/forum/index.php?topic=2134.0

I replied to him that I’ll discuss with you and all members another article that was posted by Brother Joseph regarding “all non-Muslims “including People of the Book, Jews and Christians” are not automatically disbelievers (Kafir)”.

After you read this post, please advice me and explain to me the reasons of why Allah mentioned these verses in Quran if it is not mandatory for people to follow them.

•   Allah said in two verses that He has shown people every single way of evil and good actions (i.e. His orders in details), and Allah gave us the option to choose which way to follow. Of course Allah knows what every one of us would choose.

1.   (76:3) Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.
2.   (90:10) And shown him the two ways (good and evil)?

•   The believers say “we hear Allah’s orders and obey (follow) His orders. Therefore, those who want to be among the believers must worship Allah the way He wants, not the way we want. Therefore, the believers
1.   Must believe in all the Prophets of Allah including Mohammad, and
2.   Must believe in all the Books of Allah including Quran.
3.   Please see also verse (4:152)

(2:285) The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them     have believed    in Allah    and His angels     and His books    and His messengers,      [saying], "We make    no distinction between      any of His messengers. " And they say,          "We hear and we obey.            [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."

•   To be considered righteous in the sight of Allah, you also must believe in all the Prophets of Allah, including Mohammad, (and to strive sincerely to follow Quran).

(2:177) but righteous is          he who believeth           in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture           and the prophets

•   Regarding Prophet Mohammad, Allah doesn’t want from people only to believe in him and follow him, but also to honor him. At the end of the verse, Allah said: those will be the winners of heaven.

(7:157) Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, … So they         who have believed in him,      honored him,             supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him -                it is those who will be the successful.

•   Then Allah made it clear and said that the believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Prophet Mohammad. Please see also verses (47:2), (57:19)

(49:15) The believers are    only    the ones who have believed in Allah       and His Messenger          and then doubt not          but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allah.          It is those who are the truthful.

•   Allah said about those who believe in Allah      but    disbelieve      in some of His Prophets (including Mohammad)         that they are         the real disbelievers.

(4:150-1) Verily, those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers      and wish to make distinction between Allah and His Messengers     (by believing in Allah and disbelieving in His Messengers) saying,     "We believe in some but reject others,"             and wish to adopt a way in between.                 Those are the disbelievers, truly.            And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.

•   One may say, how about those who have never heard of Islam (Quran) and have done good deeds; Allah said that He does not do injustice, even as much as an atom’s weight, as in (40:4). Well, Allah also said, If He knows that there is any good in them, He alone will deliver to them the message of Islam (Quran). Please also keep in mind the two verses that I mentioned above that Allah also shown them both ways (evil and good).

(8:23) If Allah had found in them any good.              He would    indeed          have made them listen:            (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).

•   What will happen to the deeds that they did? Allah said that He will not accept it.

(25:23) And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes.

How then “all non-Muslims “including People of the Book, Jews and Christians” are not automatically disbelievers (Kafir)”?

•   One must believe in “Allah” the creator of the all-things as He wants, not as we want. As I explained above Allah wants us to believe that Mohammad is His Prophet, and Quran is His Book and we must strive sincerely to follow Quran as much as we can.

(103:2-3) Verily Man is in loss, Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

Thank you for your attention and I look forward to your feedback. All members are very welcome to contribute their knowledge and comment on my article.

Women / Can women pray/fast during Menstruation
« on: October 08, 2016, 02:34:25 AM »
Dear Joseph,

I read your articles of whether women can pray/fast during Menstruation. Your efforts are very much appreciated. However, let me please discuss this with you.

I understood from your articles that Quran is silent, only sick people can’t fast and menstruation according to Quran is harm “Aza” and is not necessary “sick”, etc.

Let me discuss with you “fasting” from a common sense basis from Quran:

Menstruation may cause some women pain, cramps, anxiety, fatigue, poor performance, etc. and no one knows when this would arise (i.e. middle/end of day). Then, if women were fasting and any of these situations happened and become necessary for a woman to break her fasting, then, the time she fasted would be lost. And she must fast another day after Ramadan. This is unjust for women because Allah said:

(4:40) Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight

One may argue that some women are very healthy. But, is there any guaranty that those healthy women will not become ill after one minute? Allah alone knows the unseen. Therefore, to follow Quran and avoid injustice, all women must break their fasting in Ramadan during menstruation and fast them later after Ramadan.

(5:42) … If thou judge, judge in equity between them. For Allah loveth those who judge in equity.

Regarding prayer, please note that purity is a prerequisite of establishing prayer and women during menstruation are impure as per (5:6) (2:222). However, it seems to me that you believe something different and you gave few examples from Quran to prove your argument such as:

(9:103) Take alms out of their property, you would cleanse them and purify them thereby

Then, you said “Does this mean that a state of impurity existed before purification and thus one could not pray?

The answer to your question is simple: Allah is talking in this verse about those who give charity to the needy, and by doing so, Allah will purify them. The meaning of “purify them” in this verse is: Allah will erase their sins and guide them to make best decisions in order to succeed on earth and the hereafter.

Therefore, in my humble opinion, I would suggest that you review your decision regarding these issues.

Thank you kindly for your time. May Allah reward you for your efforts and guide all of us to the straight path,

With peace and respect,

Dear Joseph A. Islam,

Peace be upon you,

I read your article that Arab (Prophet Mohammad) is not from the offspring of Ishmael and Abraham as per your article http://quransmessage.com/articles/are%20the%20arabs%20descendants%20of%20abraham%20FM3.htm

I realized that you referred to verses from Quran that “the Arab forefather received no Warner before; Abraham was the father “in faith only” to the believers, etc…” I don't want to argue with you from Quran or Islamic resources because we may never reach any agreement. Therefore, I decided to argue with you from the Torah.

Deuteronomy (18:18) “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.”

According to this verse, Allah told Moses that He will send a Prophet from the “Brothers of the Jewish”. Jewish are from the offspring of Isaac. Isaac’s brother was Ishmael. Therefore, Prophet Mohammad is from the offspring of Ishmael.

I hope that you are not going to dispute with me and say that the meaning of “Brothers of the Jewish” is “brothers in faith”.

I also read your article that you believe that the sacrifice son of Abraham was Isaac and not Ishmael as per your article http://quransmessage.com/articles/ishmael%20or%20isaac%20FM3.htm

Again I will discuss this topic with you from the Bible that tells us that the sacrificed son was Ishmael.

Genesis (16:16) Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore him Ishmael.

Genesis (21:5) Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him

This concludes that Ishmael was 14 years older than Isaac.

Genesis (22:2) Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

In this verse, Allah told Abraham to sacrifice his ONLY SON, and Isaac is mentioned in this verse. This contradicts the other two verses because the ONLY SON Abraham would had at that time is Ishmael. So, it seems to me that someone added the word “Isaac” while was not aware of the age of the two boys Ishmael and Isaac.

I verified these verses from the bible. However, I should give the credit to "Simon Alfredo Caraballo" for his great book “My Great Love for Jesus Led Me to Islam” because I learned this information from his book, page 30. His book is available online for free.

I would welcome your feedback. Thank you kindly for taking the time to read my post.

May the blessings of Allah be on all of the believers,

With great respect,
