Questions 1, 3, 4 are answered by Bro. Joseph's article, which you say you have already read and agree with: "Raised him to a high position" in verses 3:55 and 4:158 means exactly what it means in

verse 19:56-- raised to a high status, not elevation. InshaAllah, someone versed in Arabic can answer can fully elaborate #3.

I could be wrong, but this does seem to conflict with Br. Joseph's previous remarks Noah(sws)'s Flood being localized. Do you still hold this position?

I misspoke on my previous answer. I was saying 'yes' to your first statement, that Noah (pbuh) was the only one among his people with a very long life. My apologies.

Noah's longevity was a miracle bestowed by God. It's very simple.

Crimes can only be punished if they cause corruption in society, however, a crime does not have to affect others in order to corrupt society, just transgress against God's commands.

I don't think there is any debate that parts of the Bible have been corrupted. However, this is not equivalent to wholesale corruption, nor does it imply the the Bible is too polluted to be of use.

The OT, in parts, seems to present a very humanized portrayal of God (swt), that remains inconsistent with the Quran so we can safely say that these passages are errors. Also from the above article: "Believers should study Biblical passages allowing for discernment through the lens of the Quran. This remains rather different from 'picking and choosing'.
