Edward Lanes is used frequently and is referenced as are other sources. Here are some examples. Readers appear to be well acquainted with this.

Just so that readers are aware, it seems the site you refer to relies heavily on Hanna Kassis's concordance and other classical dictionaries and appears to be a collation.


There doesn't seem to be any 'original' work or material on the site you mention from a thesaurus - classical Arabic dictionary point of view other than a general collation and links.

Ursimmy  - Please ask your question and if brother Joseph Islam is able to respond he will. He has numerous other comittments and although he really tries really hard to answer and help us all even given the many of queries he gets, he cannot get to all the queries. Please also check first whether the question has been answered before as no one has time to repeat their responses. For example there are articles and comments already brother Joseph has written. Have you checked all these writings on this topic?
