Islamic Duties / Detaining witnesses after Salath
October 03, 2013, 04:19:14 AM
5:106
O you who believe! call to witness between you when death draws nigh to one of you, at the time of making the will, two just persons from among you, or two others from among others than you, if you are traveling in the land and the calamity of death befalls you; the two (witnesses) you should detain after the prayer; then if you doubt (them), they shall both swear by Allah, (saying): We will not take for it a price, though there be a relative, and we will not hide the testimony of Allah for then certainly we should be among the sinners.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Salam All As per 5:106 One has to detain two witnesses after "Salath"but I could not understand well about "detaining after Salath" Thanks

33:37
And when you said to him to whom Allah had shown favor and to whom you had shown a favor: Keep your wife to yourself and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and you concealed in your soul what Allah would bring to light, and you feared men, and Allah had a greater right that you should fear Him. But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah's command shall be performed.

Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.

Salam All Can somebody please help me by explaining the concept of " Jazia" applicable in past & present time? Thanks
#144
In the above Ayaath Allah says that the prophet would " Clarify"," Explain",and "TEACH Hikmah"to the Umah which is applicable to the Umah   who were present during his ministry but how is  applicable to us when we are not present and  can not hear that Clarification,Explanation or learn Hikmah? We have to be content what is in Quran as no Clarification,Explanation or Teachings are duly recorded. Thanks

Islamic Duties / Qaza Prayers
August 28, 2013, 09:04:17 AM
It is generally believed that the Muslims who have not been able pray the five Salath on appointed times due to some reason or the other can pray as Qaza Salath afterwords.

Even though it is not mentioned any where in Quran, the Ulemas say that we
can compensate the shortcomings by praying the as Qaza prayers. Can some brother & sister throw light in this aspect? Thanks
#146
To my knowledge earlier Prophets have given indication future Prophets coming. The Glorious Quran or Prophet Mohammad SA has not given any such indication as such the claims of Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani & Rashad Khalfa do not hold good and thus clear fabrication.

Salam All, I heard two different things during Jumah Khutba of this Ramazan. First the Imam said that the Shayateen are imprisoned during Ramazan. In another Juma Khutba the second Imam said that the Doors of Jahannam would be closed during Ramazan. They were telling based upon the Secondary source which are hardly believable. Further when Allah has not decided as to who would go to Jahannam how anybody is supposed to go?It is immaterial if the Jahannam is open or closed. I need some comments on this. Thanks.

General Discussions / Crumbling of Mountain?
July 30, 2013, 08:06:26 AM
Salam All, As per following Ayah the Mountain which is also called Kohe Toor was crumbled after

Allah's manifestation but some say the mountain is still there. Can somebody explain in this regard?

And when Musa came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said: My Lord! show me (Thyself), so that I may look upon Thee. He said: You cannot (bear to) see Me but look at the mountain, if it remains firm in its place, then will you see Me; but when his Lord manifested His glory to the mountain He made it crumble and Musa fell down in a swoon; then when he recovered, he said: Glory be to Thee, I turn to Thee, and I am the first of the believers.

2:259
Or the like of him (Uzair) who passed by a town, and it had fallen down upon its roofs; he said: When will Allah give it life after its death? So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him to life. He said: How long have you tarried? He said: I have tarried a day, or a part of a day. Said He: Nay! you have tarried a hundred years; then look at your food and drink -- years have not passed over it; and look at your ass; and that We may make you a sign to men, and look at the bones, how We set them together, then clothed them with flesh; so when it became clear to him, he said: I know that Allah has power over all things.

Islamic Duties / Six Kalimat prescribed for Muslims
July 22, 2013, 02:42:15 AM

I know there are six Kalimat prescribed for Muslims but by whom I do not know. I am posting those Kalimat in the following.
The 6 Kalimas

http://www.geocities.com/mutmainaa/

The 6 (six) Kalimas are recorded in various books of knowledge, and are recited (and remembered) by people across the globe.
These kalimas were compiled together for children to memorise and learn the basic fundamentals of a Muslim's beliefs. They are not found altogether complete in any one hadith or narration from the Prophet (peace be upon him). However, some of them can be found individually in the narrations.
Listed below are the 6 well known Kalimas.

First Kalima

The Word of Purity (Tayyabah)

La ilaha ill Allah Muhammadur-Rasul Allah

(There is no God but Allah Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah)

To Listen click here.

Second Kalima

The word of Testimony (Shahaadat)

Ash-hadu an-La illaha ill Allahu, Wahdahu La Sharika lah, wa ash-Hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasoolu

(I bear witness that no-one is worthy of worship but Allah, the One alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger)

To Listen click here.

Third Kalima

The word of Glorification (Tumjeed)

(Glory be to Allah and Praise to Allah, and there is no God But Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. And there is no Might or Power except with Allah.)

To Listen click here.

Fourth Kalima

The word of Unity (Tauhid)

(There is) none worthy of worship except Allah. He is only One. (There is) no partners for Him. For Him (is) the Kingdom. And for Him (is) the Praise. He gives life and acuses death. And He (is) Alive. He will not die, never, ever. Possessor of Majesty and Reverence. In His hand (is) the goodness. And He (is) the goodness. And He (is) on everything powerful.)

Fifth Kalima

The word of Penitence (Astaghfar)

(I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin I committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly, and I turn towards Him from the sin that I know and from the sin that I do not know. Certainly You, You (are) the knower of the hidden things and the Concealer (of) the mistakes and the Forgiver (of) the sins. Wa aslamtu wa aquulu La illaha illAllahu Muhammadur RasulAllah

(O Allah! Certainly I seek protection with You from, that I associate partner with You anything and I know it. And I seek forgiveness from You for that I do not know it. I repended from it and I made myself free from disbelief and polytheism and the falsehood and the back-biting and the innovation and the tell-tales and the bad deeds and the blame and the disobedience, all of them. Spend on Parents ,Near Kin,Orphan
Needy and Travellers

2:215
They ask you as to what they should spend. Say: Whatever wealth you spend, it is for the parents and the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, and whatever good you do, Allah surely knows it.
As per the above Aya Muslims have to spend their wealth on Parents & other categories but I wanted to know if married women having wealth can also spend on their parents

Salam All, Most of our Muslim brothers do not take care of newly converted muslim brothers as a result of which tendency of reverting back to their faith is there to happen. One of my Christian  co-worker's son had converted as muslim & he was attending prayers in our mosque & also fasting. But after nearly one year I could not see him and when I asked my co-worker the reason she said he is back to the fold of Christianity.  She did not give any reason but I inferred that as nobody was befriending him by inviting him to their homes for friendly talk, wedding,Dinner, etc.I recently heard that in Canada the Imams are asking Muslim brothers to befriend & invite them to talk & have dinner so that these newly converted muslims need not think that they are odd.We have try to assimilate them in our fold so that they may think & realise that we are one UMMA.I it is imperative upon all muslims to behave our newly converted muslims as brothers in all fields life Thanks for sharing

Two friends have placed their argument on position of God.One says as per 7:54 ,20:05, 67:16 He is established on Throane in Heavan while other say as per 3:07,2;186,4:108,50:16 & 58:07 that God is not physical entity He is nearer to human who prays, always with His creation & nearer to human's jagular vein. Can somebody clarify the exact position? General Discussions / Allahu Akbar VS Allahi Akbaru
July 02, 2013, 10:00:52 PM
In one of the other Forums it was mentioned that the word "Allahu Akbar" is not in Quran. I was astonished as Allahu Akbar is used in Azan and we start our Salath with Allahu Akbar and tell on every movement of Salath. But when I searched in Quran I found that it is written as "Allahi Akbaru" I do know why this Quranic Allahi Akbaru is expressed as Allahu Akbar. Participants  of this Forum may kindly throw light on this. Thanks

Allah's Command about Shoes
------------------------------
Innee ana rabbuka faikhlaAA naAAlayka innaka bialwadi almuqaddasi tuwan
20:12 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy SHOES: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa.
-----------------------------------

Allah's Command to Prophet Moses to remove his shoes in Wadi -e-Tuwa
make all of us know the shoes  are not worn in Sacred places where Allah's Zikr/ Salath is performed
But I wonder in Saudi Arabia most of the people like Millitary people
pray Salath wearing shoes but all
over the world Muslims don't allow
Shoes in Masajid. I heard that our prophet used to pray wearing shoes
In the battle field. I just wanted to know if shoe is to be kept away from
sacred places why it was used in
Salat?
