Usually Muslims express loudly Ameen after Surah Fatiha in Salath I just wanted to know if is Sunnah
of prophet or coined afterwards eventhough the Ameen is not in Quran. Can somebody clarify about
this?  Thanks
May entire creation be filled with Peace & Joy & Love & Light

This type of question my brother is not something anyone can tell you with absolute truth. This can only be based on what history can try to show and from what audience you here this from. However this question is really not so important. The fundamental basic requirements of establishing prayer has been instructed by God in the Quran to the believers. Brother Joseph has shown the verses which stipulate which requirements are necessary for prayer. Anyone fimiliar with these requirements from the Quran can understand that the mainstream prayers that are present today do not fall short in any major way. Any additional steps or extra sayings or moments that exist today could possibly be from what the Prophet has added in different times of his life to the praying method or it could be added from other good faithful believers that wanted to do more for their own selves by not making it mandatory. There is really no way of finding out. It may be very well possible that you may want to add a few extra sayings or expressions in your daily prayers to God that you may feel you need to say. This does not mean you are adding or deleting. And it may be possible that the people praying behind you may agree with your sentiments while praying and say other words to agree with what your saying.

Peace be with you brother  :)
