Dear Joseph and everyone on this forum,

Assalam alaykum.

Currently I am struggling with an issue and have failed to find any proper answer/guidance regarding it. In the west and also nowadays in the east almost all companies are built up of capital taken as loans from interest-bearing banks, and hence they constitute to riba. For example, lets say I work in a company and my job is in a halal field. However, the company owes loans to a bank which includes interest (riba). In light of the Quran, will it be permissible to work in that company? Please note that i have read your article on riba, but it doesn't tackle the question that I am posing here.

Salam
