Are the Shuhdah alive and get sustenance from Allah?

3-169
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
3-169
And وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ ----اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ

And reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their Lord;reckon not those who are killed in Allah's way as dead; nay, they are alive (and) are provided sustenance from their Lord;

Can somebody kindly clarify as to how the Shuhuda are alive & get sustenance from Allah?If brother
