« on: May 11, 2013, 02:02:02 AM »
Salam All, Why do the Muslims want Shariah law to be incorporated in US? Does the Shariah Law the Muslims want is not sollely based upon Quran but on Secondary Source. The punishments as Secondary Source are not as per Quran. Most of the Top Muslim Media is pressing for this giving vide publicity in Magazines & speeches. While US states are against this why should we press for this

Salam All. A humble submission on coming of Prophet Jesus
(1)As per the Secondary Source  if Allah has taken away Prophet Jesus upon Heaven after death but how can he come to Earth before the Judgement Day while Allah said in Ayah 3:185 that every soul has to taste death &
he would be Resurrected on the Day of Judgement. The Quran does not mention anywhere that Jesus would come down to Earth before the Judgement Day
(2) Secondly if at all we accept for the arguments sake that Jesus will come down but for what purpose ? There is no need of any further guidance from him for the Ummah of Mohammad SA who have got their Deen
(3)Suppose he is coming to fight with Dajjal how can he fight with him ? Why then the Mahdis of Sunnis & Shiahs also have to come? To help him fight with what weapons ?
(4)When Jesus comes it will the period of Prophet Mohammad SA & therefore he has to come as follower of Mohammad SA.How can a senior prophet become as a follower? As per Quran there in no difference among the prophets.
(5) As per Ayah 3:185 every soul will have to taste Death and Allah will Resurrect on the day of judgement. Allah gave natural death to Jesus. Therefore Jesus would be Resurrected only on the Day of Judgement. Why there is an exception by resurrecting and sending him to Earth before Day of Judgement as Allah does not change His rules.

General Discussions / Ayah 59:70
« on: April 17, 2013, 08:27:52 AM »

Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

As per this Ayah Allah transform bad deeds into good deeds if the believer repents & does good deeds. Does this mean that instead of wiping off bad deeds these will be transformed into good deeds. Some brother may kindly explain. Thanks

Reward and Punishment

by Quasim Hamdani, Chicago, Tuesday, November 15, 2011, 20:35 (12 hours, 10 minutes ago) @ Joseph Islam

I think the Judgement Day and the Laws of Recompense are two separate and distinct things.

The Judgement Day coincides with the resurrection in the Hereafter. The Hereafter is a cosmic event where the universe goes through a massive change and humans are alive and aware again. Unlike our first birth, where we came to life helpless and clueless and later died with an entire database of our thoughts and actions preserved, this new life picks up where the old life stopped. This database of our thoughts and actions determines whether we are relegated to a life of envy, resentments and frustrations or we graduate to a life of happiness, comfort, abundance and fantastic new experiences.

Like all laws, the Law of Recompense is a process. Before this law kicks in, the humans are given an opportunity to repent and start over, if the repentance is not forthcoming, then the Law of Recompense takes hold. The nature and timing of this recompense is not always known. The requital is bound by space and time while we are living. A person may also die before experiencing the earthly requital. There is an inverse relationship between the requital earned and your station in the Hereafter - the more requitals one earns the lower the station. The database of our thoughts and actions travels with us to the Hereafter, intact.

Salam Bro JAI I got this post in my Email but I am not sure it is your post or Hamdani's but what I want is to please explain what does this mean Thanks

Islamic Duties / Shortening of Obligatory Prayers
« on: March 17, 2013, 08:48:39 AM »
Salam All. As per Allah's order a Muslim has to shorten his obligatory prayers when is traveling. I see some brothers shorten their obligatory prayers but pray the Sunna in full. I was amazed and ask when Allah permitted you to shorten the prayers why do you pray Sunna & Nafil ? They say Allah has permitted but not the Prophet.I request brothers to enlighten me on this. Thanks

General Discussions / Aya 74:30
« on: February 01, 2013, 02:41:37 AM »

Salams,I am giving Bro Damon's reply to Edip Yuksel on 74:30. Pl offer your comments. Thanks

I think it is very senseless for anyone to debate with you over this issue when The Quranic ayaaot in question are very clear. The very foundation of the 19 theory is the incorrect and inaccurate translation and interpretation of 74:30. It says what it says...and it does not say what it does not say. It really is as simple as that Edip.
Reading an article about the author's bias FOR said theory is indeed a one sided affair.
You asked me which do I see, Hell or Miracle. I see "SAQAR" because SAQAR is what Tissaat Asharaa is over.
You claim that the "IT" in the phrase "aalayhaa" is referring to The Quran, but you know just as well as I do that this is 100% false because the Arabic word "Qur'aan" is NO WHERE to be mentioned in the entirety of Surah 74 of The Quran. So we have to ask what is the "IT" that "Aalayhaa" is referring to and we all know that according to The Arabic grammar AS WELL AS The Quran's method of qualifying personal pronouns, it can ONLY be referring to the LAST NAMED/IDENTIFIED "Noun" before the term "aalayhaa" was mentioned. If we trace our steps back from 74:30 we end up at 74:26 which has the LAST NAMED/IDENTIFIED noun which is the Arabic word "SAQAR".
It's as simple as that Edip. The Arabic and it's grammar work in the manner that they do and it is not up to us to start making up our own grammar rules or dismissing rules by which The Quran qualifies personal pronouns.
So again I have to say that either the 19 theorist does not know Arabic and/or The Quran's method of pronoun qualification, or if he does know Arabic then he is being very dishonest and making up his own rules of the languages grammar.
I'll leave that to you to decide which one applies to you.
Salaamun 'Alaiykum,
Damon.

Prophets and Messengers / Migration of Prophets
« on: December 26, 2012, 01:41:46 AM »
17:1 Glorious is He Who initiated the migration of His servant by night, from the Sacred Masjid to the Remote Masjid whose environment We did bless that We may show him some of Our signs. He is the Hearer, the Seer. [20:23. Signs that the Divine System will begin to prevail from there]
17:2 (Recall that Moses had to migrate from Pharaoh's Kingdom to the Sinai Peninsula.) We gave Moses the scripture and We appointed it a Guide to the Children of Israel, saying, “Choose no guardian besides Me.”
--
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In these two   Ayaat Allah describes the migration of Prophet Mohammad SA & Prophet Moses SA.In the Aya 17:2 Allah gave scripture to Moses after migration. In the migration of Prophet Mohammad from Sacred Mosque to Masjid Aqsa at night. Though I know that Masjid Aqsa was not built at the time of Prophets life time but why Allah says Masjid Aqsa instead of telling Madina? Secondly, what kind of " Signs" Allah wanted to show in Masjid Aqsa or Madina? Prophet had to migrate due to kuffar of Mecca for safety to lead a normal life but Allah's description " To show our sighns"is not understood .Can any brother or Bro JAI through some light please? Thanks

Quranists usually call the Hadith believers as "N2I " ( Number Two Islam) which we see  on  another Forum. While they say that division in sects is not as per Quran why they themselves call fellow muslims as N2I ?

Islamic Duties / Ruku Sajda & Serve your Lord
« on: November 02, 2012, 10:03:10 AM »

I happen to read the following post about Ruku & Sajda as a part of muslims action. Why Allah using three words for submission to Him? He is not telling us  to be  humble? Are the words Ruku & Sajda are not practical ? What is actually meant to Bow & Prostrate? Thanks           Qur'an, 22:78
by jawaid ahmed,uk , Wednesday, October 31, 2012, 01:43 (1 day, 17 hours, 1 min. ago) @ Denis Sadykov

Go back one verse to 22:77:-

22:77 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Bow down, prostrate, and serve your Lord. And do good to the society so that you may prosper. [Rukoo‟ (Bowing) and Sajdah (Prostration) are not confined to the ritual physical motions. They convey a more   sublimemessage of being humble and submitting to God‟s commands\]

Islamic Duties / Salath is Prayer ( Zikrillah)
« on: October 13, 2012, 08:49:51 AM »
Salam All , In recent times every body has got his own view of what is revealed in Quran. Take the word "Salath" Instead of regular meaning some say it refers to walk behind one another, some say Salath is following Allahs commands and some say Ruku & Sajda are not phsycal.Inspite of Time Bound Salath are mentioned in Quran most of the people do not accept.I submitt Surah Juma alongwith the Translations for our Bros to offer their valued opinion.Th

Surah 62. Al-Jumua, Verse 9:

Translation:
O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know.

Explanation
As per Aya 9 believers are asked to come to Mosque for Salath  to perform Prayer and  not for following commands but to remember Allah ( Not for any other purpose ,like discussion on community matters etc as some people think that Mosque is an office or
Municipality )
Surah 62. Al-Jumua, Verse 10:

Translation:
But when the prayer is ended, then disperse abroad in the land and seek of Allah's grace, and remember Allah much, that you may be successful
--------------------------------
Explanation
As per Aya 10 above
when the  prayer is ended disperse in the land, here prayer is ended but  not following command,  because following command does not end as it is 24/7 requirement. This clearly shows that Allah is calling to come to mosque for prayers for Zikrillah  not for any other purpose as some people say for discussing routine matters of community.  Salath is not following command here as most of the people translate but for Zikrillah The day of Juma was there as one of the days of week during the time of revealation. Therefore Umul Juma was a day of week.
