 I was sent the clip from my co worker who asked me why he's saying things differently, (he was in a debate with a church full of people )  than I have been about Islam..

I never say anything about verses I don't know or make it clear I'm not sure.. At least some of us are fearful of Allah to do that.

I feel so sorry.. I mean so sorry for those who follow blindly...

I would love to walk in on one of his debates and correct him.. Lol

I tend to stay away from scholars interpretations. ..
Most if not all of the muslim doctors who are explaining it on these sites are without doubt WRONG! 
I think they are just reading the verses and not studying other verses in the Quran in regards to creation.
A lot came up with these ideas and translations to justify the what Allah means to Islamic Critics.. science is not concrete facts and I think the Quran proved scientists wrong many times. I don't think many people see the Quran not being a science book... they certainly have signs in it... its never wrong so I'm not looking to cooperate with science, I'm just a geek who is interested in how things are created from Allah or functions...

My God, some one silence a guy name Bassam Zawadi off You Tube.  The man is absolutely clueless about Islam... Islam overall.  He should mot speak for Islam nor should anyone who's confused or misguided. Is he shia? He said something about Islam tells us, Muslim's, to uphold the scholars/Imams infallible if they all agree on meaning on verses, therefore Muslim's are to go what they say on the meaning. Sounds like a misguided cult to me..

Thank You...take your time. I was pondering on it for a while myself and all my research is lost on my lap top that crashed.. 
I have narrowed it down, but I don't want to say it is that because I'm not sure, I don't want to twist Allah's words and meanings around.

Salaam brother Joseph,

Do you have anything on verses 86:5-7?

It certainly is not backbone/ribs/ nor a female anatomy.

(86:7:4) l-ṣul'bi   the backbone    يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ

(86:7:5) wal-tarāibi   and the ribs    يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ


I have medical terms of the anatomy possibly what Allah is referring to... But doesn't look like they exist in Arabic terms. 

Some tried to correct Quran Corpus putting Loin... And the female anatomy... But it doesn't make sense.

Salaam Sardar,

When praying in a mosque, male or female praying next to each other or whatever... When they are prostrating their eyes usually will be looking down and having full focus on the prayer and connecting with Allah. So people using excuses as immodest are ONLY fake believers and misguided in my opnion.

The 5 prayers are all contact prayer which is bowing and prostration... Memorizing Allah throughout the day or night also is different and not the 5 prayers... People just want to justify things to make it less of an obligatory or their egos got in the way and they have gone astray and think they are on the right path.

If people can't control their hormones looking at people's rears when they are worshipping their lord and completely submitting physically, emotionally and completely mentally than there's only one thing left to say... Sexual deviants who's eyes, mind and thoughts are always wondering.. Lol

I read one of the forums on here about some muslims who do not believe in the Miricles mentioned in the Quran... Doesn't surprise me... they are not really believers. It's that straight forward.
It doesn't mean when someone doesn't understand the verses... They start making definitions to explain the verse(s).

Salam Arman,

I think you have your understanding of the verses wrong when it comes to orphanage and their dues/returning their wealth.

I read what you wrote as an understanding you believe according to the Quran, each person is responsible to give an orphan a set amount or save something for them.
That's a great thing..but Allah is not asking us to do all that as you put it in a previous comment.

If you are caring for an orphan or one that you have their inheritance/Money that YES you have to return exactly what you were guarding for them. But it seems on previous comment you think everyone has to give an orphan a sum amount even if you are not caring for them or just any orphan randomly. 

I know what the verses say and mean...

again, I only believe what's in the Quran. Without doubt it's been preserved and nothing has changed in it. Also as Saba said, and I assume you already know this, Muslims are to only follow what's in Quran.

I went a step further and copied and pasted you explaination on prostration

When I consider an argument I like to have all the evidence on the table, then weigh up each option and go with the one that is most evidenced/logical.

So, let's sum up:

The Quran has multiple verses wherein humans are doing SJD in which it cannot mean physical prostration. It has no verse wherein humans doing SJD clearly meaning physical prostration.

The Quran clearly says believers are to SJD when Quran is relayed to them. You take this as a non-prostration SJD.
However, when this would occur in salat in 4:102 you take SJD to mean a physical prostration.

Your view on 4:102 requires an unwarranted assumption wherein allegedly God didn't mention SJD in the rain/illness exceptions but it is allegedly included.

A somewhat modified salat performance due to carrying of weapons. For sake of argument, let's say a minor modification.


As I said, theoretically possible, not credible. Readers can make up their own minds however.


Perhaps a larger question, is the can of worms it opens up if one adopts your approach to Quran:

Verses 6:118-121 are very clear straight forward. Do not eat anything that has not had Allah's name mentioned upon it. Allah is not taking about fruits and vegetables. He talking about the Animals that are slaughtered that He mentioned in different verses. It is the way it is.. ones not going to die if they don't eat meat, if one wants to, than go eat it after the requirement Allah commanded has been done. If one thinks they say or mention Gods name in anyway when they slaughter the animals with machines, your living in a cave.

People tend to use other verses to patch up for a meaning to other verses such as their food is lawful to you and your food is lawful to them to think that mentioning of Allah's name is mentioned or not . Allah doesn't contradict Himself.

That's my belief...

That is why you leave a written Will as Allah instructs us to do so.

Do I ponder over verses of the Bible? No.. I have no problem reading it and have... I only believe what is written in the Holy Quran.

You can do whatever you want... Allah will judge each one with what they do. As far as I am concerned I am not doing anything against Allahs commands in the Quran.  I am doing exactly as I should be doing.

Amen to that!! If one haven't learned since 2008 that banks cant be trusted then you will never learn. There has been so much deregulation and fraud in the us economic sector it shocks me that more people are not more frightened about the economic climate we have today. Think about the people in Cyprus who had their deposits confiscated then ponder on your previous thought.
 

Even Gold and Silver, if the Govt knows you have cashed any in or have it they want a percentage of it. Heck No!! That is why you do not trust to keep it at a bank or claim it. I do not see it as being dishonest, it is rather none of their buisness.

Salaam Brother Joseph,

Do you have anything about the meaning of Verse 9:29? I have somewhat come to a conclusion, as I know there are verses that came down to the Rasool as things were occurring.
I think I saw something that included verse 9:29 when I did a search. My understanding is there were those who were not following Islam that broke a Treaty with the Rasool when they were promised they would be able to come to the Majaid to worship. When they left with the broken treaty, Allah let them wait for the sacred months and that is when Allah let them go back and just clean them out and when He sent unseen forces to help them. Was this the Trench Fight? Than the ones who were allowed to live there/stay there had to pay a certain tax whether they liked it or not? I know it starts from 9:23 to 9:29.. Can you clarify?

I have issues with our Govt or others knowing anything about my personal life whether it is finances or anything else unless "I" am willing to freely to share it.
Alhumduallah I have been blessed by Allah being protected and my property being protected.
