Salam Dear Sis Nura..

Thank you very much for your time and patience...:)...and again...i found your answer very helpful...thank you very much..
Yes sis...as people today are becoming anti-islam...i felt...if we preach them...they wouldnt take it in a good way..thats y i was confused and thought would ask here...and thanks for clearing it sis..thank you...i feel relieved now...as i pass the message of Quran to those who take it in a good way...:)...

Thanks sis...its tradition..which is followed by other religions too sis...as...everyone does the same thing...but we do not pray or do some idle worship or something like that...its just...some tradition...so..we are not at wrong na sis?..as we are doing the same thing as the other religion people do...

Regarding the phone...there is no such policy or anything as per my knowledge sis...they just installed the phone for our use...they did not say that...we shouldnt be using it for personal use or something...neither our officers can reprimand us for using the phone for personal use...but yes..if we use too much and do not concentrate on our official work...then...we have the chances of being punished...so are we wrong here sis?...i do not use it for too long...just for some short period...and even it does not affect my work as m the incharge of my division..i had to do and maintain everything...and my phone does not effect it...so are we wrong here anywhere?...

Thank you very much for your clear answers sis...:)....

Thanks and regards...
Anjum..

Salam All,

Hope you are all fine...i have few doubts...

i was wondering..is it compulsory for us to preach people about islam?..like..should i preach to my friends or something..coz...my friends are non-muslims...and here peole dont much preach about their religions..so if i preach..things may go wrong...so..i jus wanted to know...are we commanded or is it compulsory to spread islam or message of Quran or tell people about islam?...Or can we show them...by living our life as per Quran...and not to try to preach them?...

Are we allowed to follow traditions?...M 7th months pregnant...and i live in India...but from southern part of India...the thing is...in south india...People belonging to all religions..be it muslim...christian or hindus...they perform some traditions during 7th month of pregnant...like...In south...the girl goes to her parent's place for delivery...so during 7th month...Girl's family comes and all perform some traditions and take the girl with them...so...what i m confused is...is it ok follow traditions?...are committing any sin here?...

One more doubt...m working...and i have been provided with a landline phone for myself (connection in my name)...like...each employee is provided with a phone connection to themselves...everyone use it for official and personal calls...i jus wanted to know...is it ok to use for personal use?...m i doing anything wrong here by using it for personal use?...i dont use it much though...everyone uses their phones for personal use...m wrong anywhere here?...

Can you please clear these questions..m confused...

General Discussions / Quran about Swearing?
« on: September 30, 2016, 08:58:09 PM »
Salam All,

I wanted to know, what does Quran actually say about swearing?

Actually, me and my hubby had a fight...he was like swearing..i scolded you..because..you did that...and as far as i remember..i didnt do what i was accused of...so emotionally..i was swearing that..i didnt...but we both..did not swear on God...are we accountable for anything?..because..either..him or i must be lying...may be...but was our swearing wrong?..should we pay any penalty?

Kindly clear it please...sorry for such silly questions.

I came across this verse, and i am not able to figure out what it says, hope you guys can help me out..

"God has created four kinds of livestock of either sex: two of sheep and two of goats. Ask them, 'Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or what the wombs of the two females contain? Tell me on the basis of knowledge, if you are truthful."

According the above verse, does that mean, we are not allowed to eat male goats or something like that?..m lil confused..kindly clear it please...

General Discussions / Do not eat in which God's name not pronounced
« on: August 19, 2016, 09:20:33 PM »
Salam all,

I came across this verse:
Eat then, only that over which God's name has been pronounced, if you truly believe in him. Why should you not eat what has been consecrated in God's name, when he has forbidden you unless you are compelled by necessity? ...do not eat anything over which God's name has not been pronounced, for that surely is disobedience.

According to this verse...are we commanded to eat only on which God's name had been pronounced?.. Like..even in vegetarian food?..or is it mentioned only for the food..which should be slaughtered?... Like halal meat?..or is it enough to say..Bismillah before eating anything?... Or..are we not allowed to eat..vegetarian food..produced by non-muslims?..

Can u guys plzzzz..clear it..

Salam Brother Wakas..

Thank you very much for your reply...

According to your...so...the Quranic default applies only if no will is left?...what if our parents write a will benefiting both of us..like..half of the house will be for me and another half for my sister...so..is it ok here?..

Sorry for the silly questions..

Salam Brother Joseph..

Thank you very much for your valuable time...I have gone through your article..and was help...but..i still have some doubt...you have stated

It should not intend to hurt, injure or compromise (ghayra mudarrin 4:12) other beneficiaries. Depriving kinsfolk, especially those closest of their legitimate rights of inheritance through stipulating unfair / unreasonable bequests are arguably examples of causing undue harm (ghayra mudarrin 4:12).

And you have stated that, sisters only will receive 2/3 of the inheritance...why should it be like that?...my parents have only two daughters...me and my sister..shouldnt we get 1/2 to me and 1/2 to my sister?...why should we give share to our cousins..who had no share in our family neither in our hardship?...Is Quran being favorable to male only?...m sorry for being rude...but...naturally..it makes us think like that..sorry..hope you can clear this.

Anjum

Salam All,

I was about ask the same question...sorry for intruding...i have a doubt...my parents have only two daughters...that is me and my sis...my parents had built a home in our hometown...in this case...will i get half of the property and my sister the other half?...or...we both will get only one half and other half wil be given to some of our cousin?...if so...my cousins are well settled..they all have their own property...our parents...earned and built this house for me and sister...why should we give it to someone...who is already settled...and had no share in our hardship and everything...
If we are to give share to someone...who is present during distribution...then...i should say here that...In India...these things are done in Registrar office..that is a Government office...in front of Govt. Officials...so...are we supposed to give the share to Government officials who are also already settled?...n above all...why should we give them..when..we do not even know them...
M sorry if m asking silly questions...i hope you can reply...thank u..

Anjum

Salam Ilker..

I dont think..Arrange marriage is the only way in Islam...you may get to know whoever you want to know...but you should keep in mind about decency and avoid any intimacy or indecent acts before marriage...i guess its simple..:)...

Eid Mubarak...

Salam Brother Hamzeh...

Thank you for your answer...:)...but brother..u know...we live in India...here..most of our tax money is being wrongly used by the people in authority...common or poor man does not get any benefit out of it...of course...we are going back to the dark days rather than developing...in this case...what should we do?...should we still pay them taxes?
