Thank you dear Joseph.

Dear Waqas, I am just thinking whether you have even read (Just not reading but trying to understand) what brother Joseph has posted.

esp.

I think it far better if we take generic wisdom from verses such as 22:40 and 72.18, where we recognise that all places of worship belong to God along with appropriate devotion. We should disincline in making personal judgments about another's wider theological beliefs without knowing the clarity of the message that has reached them.

I would ask again with Truth seeker what is that you are suggesting in your perspective simply.

Peace

General Discussions / Never stand in it
« on: September 29, 2012, 06:54:46 PM »
Dear brother Joseph, Peace be on you.

This is with reference to your article:

http://www.quransmessage.com/articles/congregational%20prayer%20FM3.htm

We note that God has forbidden to stand in mosque which causes disunion. And as a matter of fact today almost all do (mainly those are in my city/country).

9:107-8
"And those who built a Mosque to cause harm and for unbelief and to cause disunion among the believers and an ambush to him who made war against God and His Messenger before; and they will certainly swear: We did not desire anything but good; and God bears witness that they are most surely liars. Never stand in it; certainly a Mosque founded on piety from the very first day is more deserving that you should stand in it; in it are men who love that they should be purified; and God loves those who purify themselves"

So in your view how can we pursue congregation in mosque as we hear in every Friday sermon hatred about People of the book and elected leaders and other traditional faiths established through secondary sources?

What is the solution?

Patience?

or pledge Globally with all the religious organizations that Quran is above all other books and to understand truth one has to filter through Quran instead of other way around?

Or knowingly and willingly just wait and watch all the things happening [Wait for Day of Judgement]?

They have made global "Religious" laws with respect to secondary sources which find no connection when checked with Quran, one example that amazed me when I read Quran:

58:3-4 Those who call their wives their mothers then revoke what they had said, should free a slave before having physical contact (with them). This is to warn you, as God is aware of what you do. If one does not have the means (of doing so) then he should fast for two months continuously before he has physical contact; but any one who is unable to do so, should feed sixty needy persons. This (is enjoined) so that you may be faithful to God and His Apostle. These are the limits set by God. As for the unbelievers, there is painful punishment for them.

Simple self explanatory rule now the same compensation is used for leaving a day Fast whereas it is clearly mentioned:

2:182 Fast a (fixed) number of days, but if someone is ill or is travelling (he should complete) the number of days (he had missed); and those who find it hard to fast should expiate by feeding a poor person. For the good they do with a little hardship is better for men. And if you fast it is good for you, if you knew.

 :'(

(Please correct me if there is a misconception at my end)

General Discussions / LOVE GOD ALONE
« on: September 06, 2012, 04:54:00 AM »
Peace be upon you Joseph,

Knowing that GOD is LOVING, MERCIFUL and all the beautiful things one can imagine, Is there any where in Quran where GOD has specifically mentioned to LOVE HIM ALONE?

Or as the traditionalists say that wherever GOD has mentioned regarding LOVE he has mentioned HIS messenger  (I am not sure whether it is mentioned for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) or the entire messengers; but these traditionalists emphasize that you will go to hell if you have no love for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) exclusively among other messengers) together with HIM.

Please share your views.

So please avoid sharing your views with respect to people who have passed away or even present. We are already undergoing such negativity.

By the way I don't love them or hate them.

Dear Joseph,

What wisdom in your view is behind this that GOD instructs the same commandment for Jinns and men and Sons of Adam separately?

6:130 O you assembly of jinns and men (Arabic: الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ ), did not apostles come to you from among you, communicating My signs to you, bringing warnings of this your day (of Doom)?" They will answer: "We bear witness to our sins." They were surely deluded by the life of the world, and bore witness against themselves because they were unbelievers.

7:35 O sons of Adam (بَنِي آدَمَ), when apostles come to you from among you, who convey My messages, then those who take heed and amend will have neither fear nor regret.

My friends response:

I am not looking for a philosophical or a religious answer:

Quoting the Quran to answer a question that specifically states  that "the divine book should not be made evidence of his existence" is very cleaver,

as for the first part of the answer the vibration bit, is also justified by the sense of feel thus it is no different to sight or sound,

further more false assumptions are falsified based on assumptions you deem correct.

Dear Joseph, One of my friend has a question:

If GOD existence is not acknowledged how can HE still exists?

Divine book should not be made the evidence for HIS existence.

And answer should be logical. (We created GOD or GOD created us).

It takes two to tango.
