Salam Truth Seeker,

Sorry, here are two verses about Dhul Carnain in Sura 18
", (85) Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: near it he found a People: We said: "O Dhu al Qarnayn! (thou hast authority) either to punish them, or to treat them with, kindness." (86) He said: "Whoever doth wrong, him shall we punish; then shall he be sent back to his Lord; and He will punish him with a punishment unheard-of (before)."

Salam Truth Seeker,

Thank you for linked article, according to the article of Joseph it is used for an "unseen" pluraltiy as Joseph wrote..." Please note the mention of ‘mala-i-l-ala’ (37:8) which is recognition of an  exalted assembly..."

If im not mistaken there are speeches of Named Figures in the Quran using the plural and if so do they (Prophets) have access to this divine assembly ?

I am pondering over the Situation that allows to eat forbidden meat
6:119 Why should you not eat that on which God's name has been mentioned, when He has sufficiently detailed to you what has been made forbidden; except what you are forced to? Many misguide by their desires without knowledge; your Lord is fully aware of the transgressors.

Question to the members ,when are we forced to eat such meat?Invitation? In the Outback?

If we do the whole proces for our one we can follow the instruction of Allah(st).
A:to choose the proper animal;slaugtering in the right way, mentioning the Name of Allah(st)
Aa:to avoid anmals overwhich not mentioned Name of Allah before (5:3)that are forbidden;collecting the Blood
Aaa:prepare your meal and eat from (A)

B:if you are not indulged in A till Aaa;meat from non-monotestic People/non-religious People;wilderness

So if we are not indulged in these proces of A till Aaa and we found ourself in an Invitation or we are in the wilderness, you are forced to Aa and it doesn´t matter if you are pronoucing now the the name of Allah(st)over it or not because its an emergency.
If according to some of you making the meat lawful anytime by saying""Bismillah"then there wouldn´t be the phrase which makes it mandotary to say it in the process of A:"Why should you not eat that on which God's name has been mentioned, when He has sufficiently detailed to you what has been made forbidden;..."except if we are forced like metioned above.

Again if we can eat meat without going through A and Aa just by saying "Bismiallah" to make it halal it wouldn´t be mentioned in the Quran the exception like i mentioned in B: where you can say the name anytime before eating.

My conclusion eating meat without knowing if it is slaughtered in the right way/over which the name of Allah(st)
has been not mentioned is not halal by saying the name.

Prophets and Messengers / Re: Prophet Joseph's Reliance on Allah
« on: February 18, 2014, 01:59:08 AM »
Salam,

Prophet Joseph asks the his Copanion who is going to be free to mention him by the King but he forget the words of Joseph(pbuh) but after sometime he remebered his old fellow in prison"12:45".

And he only remembered Joseph because it was a dream which bottered the king and he knew about his skills of dream Interpretation. It was the free prisoner who had something he should inform the King by leaving the prison but he was so overwelmed by his freedom that he forgot to mention that someone had prophecised his release.

Here is another lack of remembrance by satan Sura 18

"60) But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. (61) When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." (62) He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvelous way!" (63) Moses said: "That was what we were "

This is a similar Situation it was the companion who had to inform Moses(pbuh) what happened to the fish but he didn´t only when he was ask to bring the meal he remembered again what happend to the fish.

Im out of this thread

Dear goodlogic,

From the Quote of 18:23;18:24 i understand that the one who want do something in the Future has to add this formula accepting the power of the allmighty.

So if you ask someone to do a him a favour somewhere in the future ---(your questioning belongs to the present,no Need of formula )

The Person who you ask,answers----------------(the answer will enter in to the future, need of formula )

Or is my understanding wrong

but if a Hindu dedicate the Food to his God if it is the allmighty one thei do no harm to themself if we are offered the the Food we had to mention the name of our Lord nevertheless.

Salam,

I think in everything we do there is the danger beliving the result of our ability and work has other reasons then the will of the creator.
Sura 18
"(37) "But (I think) for my part that he is Allah, my Lord, and none shall I associate with my Lord. (38) "Why didst thou not, as thou wentest into thy garden, say: `Allah's Will (be done)! There is no power but with Allah!' If thou dost see me less than thee in wealth and sons (39) "It may be that my Lord will give me something better than "

If we slaughter or eat meat thinking this animal/meat is the result of my work than you associate others beside him.

Bro The dream can not be from shaitan. The dream is the reflection of our daily life.If you are pius you can see TheProphet in dream. Therefore don't think of Shatan if you get good dream
Salam Sadar Miyan,

Thank you for your answer:

you´ve wrote that the dream is the reflection of our daily life ,as you know the devils duty is to lead mankind astray till judgment day.And he tries do it every moment and every where we are and i guess he is succesful even if it is a little thing we dont recognize.
If the dream belongs to our life then the devil has the duty to involve in our dreams to do sins ,People say:,,...He follows you even in your Dreams..."

Does the dream bound to Room and Space and belongs to the earth hence it is an object for good and evil.Or is the dream out of space and time beyond the two Forces then why do i commit sins like adultery or battle with people whom you work with in my dreams. And after waking up you behaviour to this people can be changed to the negative through a dream so the devil can indirectly interferr into your dreams.

I havent found much about it the in the Quran dealing with his abbility in stepping into the dreams.

Salam all,

Im still in the process of leaving my islamic secondary education to find true understanding of Islam.Like me a lot of people grew up with a certain picture of the devil, that is drawing Satan as something who will led you astray if you dont follow the "Sunnah"/Quran.This is underlined by a hadith that is saying the Devil can´t immitate the Prophet, meaning if you dream about someone with Turban,Beard and Long clothing than this Dream is true and it is indeed the Prophet.
With this in my mind i always thought that Dreams can be corrupted by the devil which another hadith seemed to back up,which goes like this :if you wake up by a Nightmare or bad feelings in the dream than spit 3 times over your left shoulder with saying dua.
Now i was reading in the Quran that when we sleep our Soul is beein lifted up to the Lord like the dead persons with the exception that we (Persons who are sleeping)are coming back to "Life".And if the dream can be interferred by satan how could Abraham(pbuh)sure that his Vision about slaughtering his son is from the Allmighty? And the people in Sura Yusuf wouldn´t belive Yusuf(pbuh)after he had descibed the meanig of their dreams and it would gone bad for one of them.
Please share your thoughts.

Sura 2
"(86) We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of Messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not ye, are puffed up with pride? ―Some ye called impostors and others ye slay!"

Thats a high intesification from slander to kill someone and it is not described as fact.That is a barbaric description of the jewish people,i think the common folk has never killed a preacher but i can imagine that they were in opposition to them so other translation would be better -"to make so. unable;to fight against;
