Crediting Source within Articles

I note that in your articles you utilise Project Root List regularly but do not credit the source, e.g. this article:

A link or reference should be incorporated into the articles if used:

Some of those who read your articles may not be aware of this resource, hence would find it useful once they are aware of it, as you have found.

Can you please provide clear evidence of your allegation that "Project Root List regularly but do not credit the source". The articles on this site are known for being very well referenced. Edward Lanes is used frequently and is referenced as are other sources. Here are some examples. Readers appear to be well acquainted with this.

Now either provide examples of where the site you mention appears in a number of articles without reference, or kindly remove your post. Just so that readers are aware, it seems the site you refer to relies heavily on Hanna Kassis's concordance and other classical dictionaries and appears to be a collation.


There doesn't seem to be any 'original' work or material on the site you mention from a thesaurus - classical Arabic dictionary point of view other than a general collation and links.

Thanks for following this up.

Given my intense time constraints, please kindly continue to monitor this thread and share any findings directly with me or deal directly, if appropriate. I am not sure what brother Wakas is alluding to as you have already kindly intimated. My articles are usually and if not in all cases, well or completely referenced.

However, it is quite possible that the source site Wakas is referring to also references the same source material that I may have used such as Hanna Kassis's concordance which you have again, quite rightly already mentioned.

I do endeavour to be very diligent with references albeit as far as the Arabic text is concerned, I attempt to reference it directly providing support from other sources to aid other English readers.

The focus of my articles are of course the central arguments that I am making / presenting.

If there is a reference that I may have inadvertently missed, please kindly let me know and I will have it updated, if appropriate.

I agree that your articles are generally well referenced, I did not dispute that.

I'm suggesting they could be improved by referencing Project Root List when it is used, e.g. in addition to the example above:
