Daniel prophet or Angel

Hi,Ladies and Gentleman

is there any hint in the AT or NT that Daniel is Prophet because although Daniel is not mentioned in the Quran by Name one could assume that he is an angel.

Because the anglesname in the quran are ending with "il" Jibril ,Mikail ,Azrael ,Israfil and by deduction Daniel has to be angle from an islamic view.

What do the Bibleexperts say?

Daniel was a human being, an Prophet from the Israelites. Read the Book of Daniel and you will find out that he wasn't an Angel.
