Form of Prayer - For Joseph Islam

 Dear Brother  Josheph ,
I am new member of the QM forum so pls forgive me if I do any mistake of seeking answer or your valuable  thought against my question.
My problem is to say prayer in a form . I agree that there is no form of saying prayer in the Quran and also Ahadith  so how I can set my form to keep maintain  the basic need  of the Salat or prayer . How many rakat I should say in praying or can I say any rakat which will not violate the Quranic necessity .

Is there any form of rakat for compulsory and mandatory sunnah ? How I can prolong my prayer (Salat) without increasing rakat ?
Pls give me best guide line to perform prayer .
