Dear Orange,
Peace to you.
There is certainly a deep purport to this verse and multi-layered wisdom with connecting verses from the Quran.
Briefly, we first note the term
'ilma yaqeen' in the verse implying some sort of
certain knowledge which in the backdrop of the verse clearly implies all those areas of truth that the Quran addresses which is often rebuked by those who disbelieve or those that waiver in their faith.
Similarly, the Day of reckoning and impending doom which is similarly denied by disbelievers captured by many multi-nuanced verses of the Quran will be made clear to them with a certainty of sight
(ayn al-yaqeen) (literally: eye of certainty). In contrast, they remained blind in this world and hoodwinked from God's truth and His reminders, but on the Day of reckoning, the veil shall be lifted and sight will be clear.
018.101 "Those whose eyes were hoodwinked / covered from My reminder/ remembrance, and who could not bear to hear"I hope that helps, God willing.
Joseph.
