Does this verse maybe refer to meditation? Which kind?

I feel this is a corroboration of the sentiments in verse 17:110 to seek humility in a moderated tone. I feel this is primarily an allusion to formal prayers (17:110) and secondarily to any meditations that one pursues in the name of the Lord.
