Understanding verse 54:17

Can someone please Laborate in easy language what is the meaning of the verse 54:17? Is it easy to remember or understand or think about or acknowledge?

My understanding of this verse stems from a verse before 54:15:
54:15
We have (left it as a sign) or(set it up as a lesson). Does any of you wish to learn/(remember/heed the lesson)?
وَلَقَد تَرَكنٰها ءايَةً فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ

Here God is talking about a past generation.Asking us if we can learn from this lesson.

Similarly,GOD gave us Qoran to ponder /study and learn from it the lesson of how to lead our life to attain salvation.
54:17
We made the Quran easy to learn. Does any of you wish to learn?
وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ


The word "Muddakir" in both verses means "  learn from it"in my opinion.

Please note that if u use the word remember, it can change the meaning into only memorizing , not understanding. Some interpreters used the word "remember". So only this word doesn't belong to " realization " of something as well. Can u explain?

For me "to understand" becomes key for "Muddakir",otherwise one cannot learn  properly.
