Interpret the verse 38:18
« on: February 24, 2016, 01:37:56 PM »
Can someone please interpret the verse 38:18? Is it a reference to salah or just sbh?
“And no example do they bring to you but We bring to you the truth and the BEST TAFSEER (EXEGESIS).” 25:33

As far as I can tell, neither the roots slh nor sbh were present in the verse. It's just stating that the mountains were subjected to His will, whether in praise or in prostration.

I might be wrong; I'm kind of bad at Arabic. But I didn't find either word in the sentence.

It seems to me like an idiom. Not salat periods. Not sure
