Another point I wanted to share regarding paradise being eternal :),

Ayaa 51 - 60 of As-Saaffat (37), talks about a person looking at his friend in hell from paradise, and after he looked at him, he says this, "Is it then that we are not going to die" (37:58), if it was not eternal, then they would eventually die, but here it says that we are not going t die, thus suggesting an eternal paradise.

Peace be upon you :), well as I understood it, it shows that a person in paradise is reconfirming the fact that they are not going to die, thus making their stay eternal.

Peace brothers and sisters

Also another verse to consider is this one below

15:48 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed.

15:48 There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave.

Peace,

It's as if I haven't ever seen that (15:48) before.  :o

So your perspective is that "unless he wills" is just a statement that it's his decision that he don't, will them out of his punishment? I think that is consistent with this: "إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَاد" (Indeed the god doesn't withdraw from his promise), which is from 3:9, and also mentioned elsewhere in our book. Is there another manner to see all this?

Peace Hassan, those were just the words of people that our Lord relates to us though, right?

Peace be upon you :)

Yes they were, people in paradise, which arguably cannot be wrong since they can speak to God and He can correct them if they are, secondly why would God narrate words of people that are not the truth.

I didn't realise 37:57-60 it was a person of Paradise. :) :)
