Is God punishing the Muslims for abandoning the Quran?

With everything that is happening in almost every Muslim community around the world today, one only has to wonder if the Muslims are being punished by Allah. The Hadith Muslims believe that these are the signs of the last days and that their suffering is merely a test from God. From a Quranic perspective, is there any support for the notion that the suffering is because we have abandoned the Quran? Thanks

Salam Bro 8pider, There is a popular proverb that " As is sow so you reap" Muslims are being humiliated because of their evil deeds. Take Alqaida, Shahab,ISIS, Bokoharam, Taliban, Lashkare Taiba,so on so forth who are creating Fasad Fil Ard day in day out. The moral of some Muslims is deteriorating day by day. Human rights are not being followed. The end result of all these misdeeds are the result of Allah's warath. Muslims are also educationally backward. The Muslims are not holding
Allah's rope & divded into Sects.

Do not be saddened by " Mujrimeen,Mushrikeen,Munafikeen ...Who ever they are.

What we call "Muslims" are our own labels/names...without knowing what  is in the hearts of people.

Only GOD knows the "true Muslimeen" from the "Mujrimeen"

Those who call themselves " traditional Muslim ummah" are described in Qoran:

15:89
And proclaim: "I am the manifest warner."
وَقُل إِنّى أَنَا النَّذيرُ المُبينُ
15:90
We will deal with the dividers.
كَما أَنزَلنا عَلَى المُقتَسِمينَ
15:91
They accept the Quran only partially.
الَّذينَ جَعَلُوا القُرءانَ عِضينَ
15:92
By your Lord, we will question them all,
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَسـَٔلَنَّهُم أَجمَعينَ
15:94
Therefore, carry out the orders given to you, and disregard the idol worshipers.
فَاصدَع بِما تُؤمَرُ وَأَعرِض عَنِ المُشرِكينَ


Each and everyone of us needs to take GOD seriously and correct their ways and behaviour.

The people are being punished becase they have forsaken the Qur'an and believe in laws that bring injustice such as 'death to renegades', 'stoning to death' &c. - Barbaric laws.
