Is car finance and life insurance haram according to Quran?

Are you meaning as a business or as a customer of these?
In other words do you mean is it haram to set up a business of car finance /or life insurance?
In this case one has to be careful not to practice usury. But as a legitimate business with normal profit( like buying and selling) this is fine

Or do you mean is lending haram?
As long as one does not lend from loan sharks as a rule  Qoran allows one to lend providing a contract is written clear to both lender and the customer.
Also nowdays there is insurance for all sorts of things,car,house,health...etc.. Again Qoran does not forbid it to my knowledge and according to my understanding. My opinion.

As a customer is it allowed to buy a car on a finance? and as a customer is it allowed to take out a life insurance?

As discussed in the second part of my last post. Providing one is careful not to lend from loan sharks and has the means and intention to pay back,it is not haram in my opinion.

We take home,car,health insurances whether willing or unwilling in some cases like everyone should take car insurance.
Qoran has not forbid such a thing. So the same with life insurance.
However I prefer to take all my insurances with my Lord,even when I take other insurances. I believe nothing can harm us or benefit us except the Lord.So I

Even Though I take some insurances ,I keep GOD in mind and rely on His insurance only.

So ,in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with taking insurances.

In some jobs ,you get this insurance as part of the package including the pension.
