Khatam means END while some Muslims particularly Ahmedis translate as Seal or Ring. Of course seal is used as finality. Khatema,  Ikhtetam, Khatam, is used for the END. Therefore the word Khatamannabiyeen
used for our Prophet is  appropriately used as Last Prophet.

Khatam means end, to end something, set a stamp, seal! Even in urdu the word Khatam means end. 'Yeh Khatam ho gaya?' - Thus, Prophet Muhammad (P) was the last Prophet, end of Prophethood! No Prophet will come after him, but Messengers will continue to come.

What do mean by Messengers will be keep coming ? How do we know that one is a messenger?

I think the only questions I have left about this topic is that do messengers actually have a duty and  have to proclaim they are messengers of Allah (swt)?
Do they have to announce that they are warners or messengers sent by Allah (swt)?
Or is this a duty on believer to warn the surrounding areas and furthest countries from where the Quran came from and only Allah (swt) knows who they are? But in the Quran Allah (swt) refers to them all as messengers because thats how he reconizes them?
Because according to Ayah 3:81. Believers took a covenant to believe in messengers who confirm what is with them of the scripture and to help him.

According to the Ayah you posted it relates to the prophets with Book & not the routine messengers who will keep coming I dont believe in any messenger to come Furthermore how can you recognize a Messenger in this wide world?

Thanks for your understanding as the believers may have to help people in remote areas & who are not practicing Muslims to ask them to follow the Allahs Commands. One need not recognize as messenger. Thanks
